These rigs are capable of drilling wells 6" to 18" in diameter. We have drilled on special projects as deep as 2000' throughout Wisconsin. You can see these rigs on-site and drilling in our photo gallery.
We drill more than 600 wells annually, and with as many wells drilled in a year, our crews have the knowledge and experience to handle any problems that may occur while on the job. Our company policy is to drill wells that will still be in service for your
grandchildren to use! We guarantee our wells for 10 years to supply sufficient water to meet the originally intended purpose and to be free from defects in workmanship. We believe that we are one of very few firms that can be as confident about our wells.
We drill wells for the following applications:In Northeast Wisconsin, there are basically two types of wells; wells completed in a rock formation and wells completed in a water bearing sand or gravel formation. Both types of wells are reliable and supply excellent water. The formation determines which well is best for your site. When wells are completed in a rock formation for a residential home, the 6" steel casing is generally set to the solid rock. Then an open hole is drilled into the rock to supply the required amount of water. The depth of the well is dependent on the rock formation and can vary from a few feet beyond the casing to several hundred feet. With a call to our office, we can search all the records of wells drilled in an area to determine the depth of a well. Wells that are completed in a water bearing sand or gravel formation require a Stainless Steel well screen that holds back the sand or gravel and lets the water enter the well - sand free. The well screen is generally 4' in length and extends beyond the 6" steel casing. Click here for more information on well screens.
