Drilling,
developing, and maintaining a modern water well is no job for amateurs.
Only the professional ground water contractor is thoroughly familiar with
all the new methods and equipment needed to bring in a good supply of ground
water.
Different kinds of wells call for different techniques,
which require a great deal of contractor know-how. The ground water contractor
and pump installer contractor need to be water specialists, engineers,
and craftsmen.
Contractors who display this symbol are members of the
National Ground Water Association's voluntary Certification Program. They
have earned the right to display the NGWA-Certified emblem by passing rigorous
exams in their fields of expertise, which demonstrates their superior knowledge
and ability. Before taking the exam(s), they must have a required number
of years of experience. To maintain their Certificate status, they must
earn and report Continuing Education Points to NGWA on an annual basis.
This emblem is your assurance that contractors who display
it have that extra quality of pride in their work to take the time and
effort to prove their proficiency.
